I can't go to the Eric Clapton gig tomorrow and cant give the tickets back to the Albert Hall. Had some great box seats so gutted not to be going (I'm being dragged ooop north at short notice with work and wont be back until well after the start).

Stubhub seem like a bit of a joke (I need to take the tickets to them, and they cant guarantee they will sell them), and I've not had any luck on a forum I normally sell bits and bobs on. Has anybody sold on Gumtree? It would be a shame to waste them, and work won't pay.

You could always advertise them on here. Cough.

How much do box tickets at the RAH set a man back nowadays?

I've sold tickets on Gumtree before. Sites like stubhub etc seem pointless and a complete rip off to both buyer and seller.

I'm not sure what you mean about having to take your tickets to stubhub ??
I've used them before, also Viagogo and Getmein.
To be honest I hate that whole market place, it's mainly there for ticket touts, so often tickets for gigs have sold out in 5 minutes and then on these parasites sites 10 minutes later at extortinate rates.
That said I couldn't make a Prodigy giglast week and sold them 3 hours before the gig on stubhub ( they were electronic tickets though). Get a buyer today and you could get them couried to them for tomorrow ?
Good luck

Stubhub say they wont even advertise them until they are in hand with them. The issue then is that they have the tickets, so if they don't sell by the time the close they are 100% wasted - if I didn't sell them and couldn't go I could just give them away to someone in the office, or turn up half way through.

I'm not a tout and don't really agree with the whole thing, so don't want to further their enterprise - which is another reason for not using Stubhub.

Just stick an add up on Gumtree. If it's sold out then you will find a buyer.
