''Slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball'' ?..........What's that all about then ?..Though the song is pretty good to be honest.

Good one. Stupid lyrics.

Two more:

Culture Club 'Do you really want to hurt me' (yes, badly)
Bruno Mars 'Locked out of heaven' just fk off.
And another

Thin Lizzy, Jailbreak: "tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak, somewhere in this town."

Errrr, just a wild stab in the dark, but I'm guessing it'll be at the jail.
Aah - there might be more than one jail though.

I listen to the radio a lot and I never hear any of the stuff you've all quoted. Just do yourselves a favour and listen to 6Music. Serious station.

i like most types of music but my list includes:

Coldplay
Muse- worlds most famous Radiohead tribute band
Oasis
Reef- "all raise your hands"
Nirvana

There should be a law stating you can only rap if you've dealt hard drugs or been shot at.

Painful!
I can't believe it took 3 pages before this got a mention.

He should be arrested for crimes against music! I also echo the comments about Heart FM. How anyone can listen to this watered down dross all day beats me!

They must seriously lack imagination, mind you, I was once told I was 'weird' by someone (female) for not liking Kylie and Jason, Rick Astley etc...

They definitely walk among us.

Well, yes obviously.

I listen to that whenever possible, but sometimes the dreaded other crap in this thread can't be avoided unfortunately. frown

Anything that has rap. It seems to be the in thing to have some geezer talking over the top. Not sure if they are trying to be trendy or whatever but it just makes me cringe and turn over. Saying "yeah" over and over again are not lyrics.

Not against rap in general and love a lot of stuff from the 1980s as it was new and had meaning but not the modern guff as it's just commercial.

If Kiss play it, it's terrible (other than about 5% of the stuff on during kisstory). We often have kisstory on in the office, hoping to catch a classic, but if we forget to change it afterwards, it slips into some of the worst music ever written.
Kiss was bloody fantastic when they were a pirate radio station. Now they are just like any other. Playing tracks to please their paymasters rather than what they enjoy.

With all the thousands of hours of podcasts, dj sets, live gigs and enough cheap storage to listen to your own purchases a thousand times over. Why the fk are you still listening to radio thats plays crap music?

confused
It's a fair point.

In all honestly I'm only forced to listen to the radio in my van at the moment because the iPod connector thingy has broken, and I have to admit, being lift with a handful of FM stations to listen to is absolutely painful.

Everywhere else it's Internet Radio, iTunes playlists etc.

Even at work we never listen to FM radio, but just put internet radio on which is great apart form the quality (bitrate).

Agreed. But I think I can do better....

"I needed time for some thinking,

When I looked in her eye,
and I swore it was winking"

Anything not Led Zeppelin.

Not true. But I get fed up with everything on the radio most days. How do you know when you are too old?
