Not true. But I get fed up with everything on the radio most days. How do you know when you are too old?

Ah yes... His "Swing when you're winning" album.

Absolutely dreadful.
Forthcoming events in a local pub 'Robbie Williams tribute act' ffs that has to be as bad as it gets.

Only one song makes me switch instantly, Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton, it reminds me of his only son falling to his death through the window and makes me feel dreadful.
All my Love by Led Zeppelin is similar. I like the song, but it makes me think of Robert Plant's five year old son dying of a virus, which naturally makes me think how I would feel if it happened to one of my children.

That's a contender for the Council thread in the lounge.

Back on topic, that Clean Bandit tune that they use on the M&S TV ad. Overplayed to death on the radio, and now it spills over to t' telly. Nice.

Especially when the first three albums he made with Little Feat were gems but hardly get any airplay.

Journey - Don't stop believing. Bad and tacky BS.

The GLEE version makes me want to commit suicide.

In my single days I used to frequent a cheesy late night bar that was good for picking up all the desperate women who hadn't managed to pull anyone before 11pm. The DJ played the same list every week and his finale at the end of the night was Mr Brightside (to get people on the dance floor) and then Journey. The ladies lapped it up, the song that is.

The trick was to pull and grab a taxi before you heard the into.

Absolute Radio tonight, around 10 adverts I counted in a row. A good 4-5 mins of ads, really that is not good radio.

1960's - Beatles etc.. Awful.
I'm not a big Beatles fan either but dismissing the whole of the 60s is harsh. No Doors, Rolling Stones, early Hendrix, Stooges......

Anything by The Pretenders, UB40, The Specials, Elvis Costello or Dexy's.
80's tosh
I disagree with all bar UB40.
+1 UB40 the only duffer in that list. The thing is you generally only get to hear the same few over played songs from each.

True, it's a shame people become known for just one song.
+2 Pretenders debut album is brilliant. Must admit though, I'd be happy never to have to endure Come on Eileen or Red Red Wine again.
