Next week would of been John Martyn's birthday, can't believe it's 7 years in January since his passing.

I just looked up that album and noticed Hurt In Your Heart is on there, great track from Grace And Danger, an album I can thoroughly recommend.Late night John is one of my all time favourite albums. Very sad he is no longer around
It seemed like his health rapidly declined just as the new millennium got going, a friend saw him at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in the early 2000s and he could barely perform and the show was over within half hour so sad for such a talent.

Grace and danger is one of my all time favourite albums, and I was lucky enough to seem him in the Glasgow Pavilon in the early eighties. Pure class that night and the support band Dance Class were splendid into the bargin. Time fly's it seems only yesterday that I watch a documentry on the man while he was waiting for his leg amputation.
Johnny Too Bad - fantastic!!
