First band: Wolfsbane!
"Biggest" bands seen live: Neil Young/Pearl Jam/RHCP -
"Best" performance seen live: Manics early 90's/Wilko Johnson around 2001?
Dullest performance: Rollins Band (woeful), Beth Orton (ticket was given as a gift -- she was worse than I expected), Paul Weller (dull, too much soloing)

I'm sure I'll forget a few, but in what I think is roughly chronological order:
INXS
The Alarm
Status Quo
Queen
Paul Young
Genesis
M People
Eric Clapton
Del Amitri
The Dead
Reba McEntire
Joe Satriani
Robert Plant
Ratdog
Joe Bonamassa
Iggy Pop
Foo Fighters
and coming up soon:
The Strypes
Tedeschi Trucks Band
Gary Clarke Jr.
Seen a lot the bands/artists previously mentioned, some I haven't, but unless I've scan read a bit too quickly has nobody else seen Led Zeppelin?
Obviously, they were one of the highlights but other stand out highlights from purely a performance / show perspective going back 35 years + in no particular order at all and by no ways exhaustive
Rammstein
Muse
AC/DC on the Let There Be Rock Tour
Black Sabbath in Birmingham 2012 at the 02
Foo Fighters
Black Stone Cherry at Cardiff Uni
Kiss
Motorhead at Bham Town Hall - pre 1978
U2 at Bham Town Hall- pre 1980
Regret never having seen Pink Floyd
Biggest disappointments - Queen and Meatloaf at the NEC, prior to the Arena being built - sound was awful
The embarrassing ones - Busted and Gareth Gates, honestly I took my pre-teenage daughter
There's probably a whole host of shows that I simply wished I hadn't bothered with but the one that jumps out immediately is Journey, which was prior to them hitting the big time

I've seen hundreds, many of which are fairly obscure and I can't be arsed to type them all.
Favourites include
Pogues
Kate Rusby
Roy Harper
Paloma Faith
Echobelly were a huge disappointment, just standing still on stage making a good job of being technically competant whilst having bugger all audience interaction. Looked like they hated being there.
