Has anyone seen or is seeing The Cult on their current UK tour? As good luck would have it I'm in Aberdeen for Thursday's gig, but as bad luck would have it - it's sold out.

Just booked Lush for the Roundhouse, May 6th. Can't beat a bit of shoegaze.

I saw them last week in Manchester.
I enjoyed it, it was the best cult gig I've been to, but they are still not the awesome live band that I want them to be....
I've found them to be disappointing in the past.

First of the year for me last night. Rudimental at the o2.

Not many others planned:-

March - Melody Gardot at the London Pallladium
June - Rudimental (again!) - Thetford Forest
December - The Cure - Wembley.

Postmodern Jukebox - check them out on Youtube is quicker than describing them!
Watched them in Newcastle last night. Amazing as expected, some people are far too talented for this world! If anyone wants a cracking evening, with a few surprises thrown in here and there, PMJ are well worth the money and doing one hell of a tour at the moment.

Max Raptor were good a few years ago when I saw them supporting the Stranglers - actually bought their CD at the gig, which is something I don't normally do. I thought they'd split up.

They played well, I also bought the CD. Press to MECO were great, even if the guitarist had bronchitis. Allusondrugs were properly good live... something for the future there.

Post Modern Jukebox were okay.

So coming up still is PVRIS, Steel Panther, Download Fest, Walter Trout... maybe Animals as Leaders, Milk Teeth, Buck & Evans...

Had a quick trip to Leeds today to a signing session with James, promoting their new album, (girl at the end of the world, very good, go try it) and was treated to an impromptu bit of busking from Tim and Saul, before the signing. Great guys, happy to have a little chat and a few pics. Looking forward to May to seeing them live again.

Taking my daughter to see them in Kentish town next week. We saw them in Bristol last year and they were great.

We saw them at Bristol too, I have been following them for 3 years or so, me and Mrs Blue were probably the oldest in audience in Bristol. My daughter likes them but she can't handle gigs due to dyspraxia.

Lol, I'm 53 and thought I was going to be the oldest one there but was suprised that there were quite a few others around my age so not to bothered this time round. Borrowed daughters cd this morning so that will be playing in the car over the coming week.
