Has anyone seen or is seeing The Cult on their current UK tour? As good luck would have it I'm in Aberdeen for Thursday's gig, but as bad luck would have it - it's sold out.
I saw them last week in Manchester.I enjoyed it, it was the best cult gig I've been to, but they are still not the awesome live band that I want them to be....
I've found them to be disappointing in the past.

Postmodern Jukebox - check them out on Youtube is quicker than describing them!

I've got Press to MECO (w/Max Raptor and Allusondrugs) and Post Modern Jukebox this week.
Max Raptor were good a few years ago when I saw them supporting the Stranglers - actually bought their CD at the gig, which is something I don't normally do. I thought they'd split up.So, another gig added to my list for this year,
January - Rick Witter/Paul Banks (shed 7), Chris Helme (seahorses), Mark Morris(bluetones) @ fibbers, York
February - The Farm @ The Tabernacle, Talgarth. Fantastic night, on the lash with the band afterwards!
March - Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott @ Hull City Hall and Royal Albert Hall. Great night in Hull!
April - Bellowhead @ Nottingham Royal concert Hall.
May - James @ Leeds arena and Hull city hall.
June - Stone Roses @ Etihad stadium.
June - Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott @ Sherwood pines. Forestry commission gig
July - Ocean Colour Scene, Shed 7, bluetones @ Leeds Millennium Square.
Sept - Cast & The Farm, @ 02 Academy, Leeds. Musicians against Homelessness gig.

So coming up still is PVRIS, Steel Panther, Download Fest, Walter Trout... maybe Animals as Leaders, Milk Teeth, Buck & Evans...
Had a quick trip to Leeds today to a signing session with James, promoting their new album, (girl at the end of the world, very good, go try it) and was treated to an impromptu bit of busking from Tim and Saul, before the signing. Great guys, happy to have a little chat and a few pics. Looking forward to May to seeing them live again.

Wolf Alice in Cardiff on Thursday. Should be good
Taking my daughter to see them in Kentish town next week. We saw them in Bristol last year and they were great. blueg33 said:
We saw them at Bristol too, I have been following them for 3 years or so, me and Mrs Blue were probably the oldest in audience in Bristol. My daughter likes them but she can't handle gigs due to dyspraxia.
Lol, I'm 53 and thought I was going to be the oldest one there but was suprised that there were quite a few others around my age so not to bothered this time round. Borrowed daughters cd this morning so that will be playing in the car over the coming week.kuro said:
