Few lessons into this and really enjoying it so far. Have to say for me a teacher is a great benefit. I have tried a few dummies guide type books, but having no knowledge of musical theory whatsoever, these might as well have been written in Greek as far as I was concerned. It all makes a lot more sense if explained, so I can have the lesson and then go away and practice with the book.
