This, I am not actually a huge fan of her music but I can still enjoy listening to it and I am really enjoying her in between banter. Nice to see she is appreciating her audience but mainly it's covering her nerves, if that's how she deals with nerves then so be it!

Now watching New Order, it's all very mediocre.
Much much better in the flesh with a bass beat that shakes your chest. Not getting that off the telly frown

I've never heard Adele talk before. She should keep her trap shut between songs, never realised she was so rough, especially with the swearing.
Won't someone please think of the children!
And I'm one of them. I've been looking through a few iplayer sets today to share with my boys, but without checking, I wouldn't set them in front of Adele. I've seen her on stage enough to know how she operates, and like her more for it.

Bands are supposed to speak in plumy queen english?

If they come from a area they'll have a accent no?

I enjoyed The Lumineers, first time I heard them, a new fan.

Loved ZZTop, great fun.

Adele pretty good to my untrained ears.

She has always talked like that. It isn't faux!! Lisa Stansfield is another prime example of speaking voice not matching their singing voice. It does happen!
That's laid on with a trowel, don't kid yourself! wink
Well I take your word for it as you must know her personally.

All I know is that from the very first time I heard her speak (I think Brit Awards several yrs ago) she has always sounded the same. Impressive act in that case.

Grew up in South London though I think, I remember checking it out when I watched her being interviewed by Graham Norton.

Anyway her accent is the way I have always heard her talk, if it is part of an act so be it, but not exactly helpful to her when American fans don't understand her!! Maybe she feels comfortable hiding behind it to help with the stage fright she battles, who cares really!

Sorry but as an average stand up she a bit ste.

As a singer she's bloody dreadful. Totally flat and off key to start with......but the big issue I have with her is that she lacks any soul...I just don't get her at all.

Oh, and don't get me started on her miserable, bunny boiling lyrics. Poor choice Glasto.
Not a fan then, we know that now, thanks...

catching up on this now. i thought she was ok. But the too have thousands of fans sing your song like they did at the end did give me the goosebumps. She was great and was very nervous but overall its was good but its not really a glastonbury headliner. Unlike tomorrow with Coldplay.
