Good call on Airbourne smile
I've been an AC/DC fan for a long long time, and I love Airbourne, but would hate to see Airbourne quit just to keep AC/DC going for one more tour/album etc.
Why should Airbourne quit? In reality ACDC only need a singer for a few U.S, dates don't they? (unfortunately).

Just to show I'm not a total Brian Johnson hater, here's a superb version of Riff Raff with an animated Johnson claiming the stage:

Oooh, either Angus or Malcolm is a semitone out sometimes on the riff (raff?), clashing horribly hehe

laugh Yeah, forget that, it's ACDC not Shostakovich. But it's proof Johnson CAN do well if he tries. Mind you it was 20 years ago, maybe a bit too much now?

When Bon Scott died and he was replaced with Brian Johnson I thought would be a bad mistake, I was never a fan of the band Geordie but to be fair Back In Black imho was quite a good album, the albums that have followed over years have been very samey but there's no denying their live shows are still very popular BUT is it a bit late in the day to start sacking lead singers and wouldn't it be better for AC/DC to call it a day whilst they are still on top?

That's fine as the rest of the band can't play.

oh dear oh dear oh dear.

I guess this is to pre empt any whining about being cheated that ACDC copped out with a lineup that wasn't tr00 enough, that they felt they had to get a "superstar" in? Couldn't miley cyrus fit it into her diary then?

Ironically enough the last time I was unfortunate enough to be in the vicinity of a "guns'n'roses" spectacle axl had sebastian back doing vocals, I wonder if ACDC's fans will be treated to anything as comically awful as that?

Best wishes for Brian Johnson, from what I've heard it doesn't sound good.

Spare a thought for a Faces fan like myself they had Mick fkin Hucknall as front man for a while, I would've rather had Miley Cyrus than MH!!

MC is certainly easier on the eye than MH!

Wondered how long the truth about Johnson's treatment would take to come out.

He'd be successful solo. A lot of bands can sound like DC, not many singers can sound like him. Good luck to him.

I have tickets for London in June.

Refused a refund by ticketmaster.

Gutted.

On what grounds? You purchased a ticket for something very different to what you got.

Ebay it. Someone will pay for the sheer weirdness of it.

I'm trying to get tickets for the gig now, are they seated or standing?
