Could be that he does smile

Point is a fair one though, and well illustrated by the pics wink

I had a listen to the coachella clip earlier, hoped it would be better than it actually was........

Mmmmm... girls in pants.... lick

Anyway, I would really struggle to think of anyone who could fill Brian Johnson's role. AC/DC got lucky when they replaced Bon Scott, and Brian took them on a slightly different journey - as someone said, "With Bon Scott AC/DC sounded like they wanted to fight the world... with Brian Johnson they sounded like they wanted to party with the world."

I just can't see a proper replacement waiting in the wings - and I'd have to destroy my AC/DC collection if they went the Queen/Adam Lambert/X-Factor route.

Besides, I can just imagine a sexy rock chick like Lzzy Hale singing those lascivious songs of Brian's and Bon's... especially if she's wearing little leather pants... cloud9

I'm another one with tickets for Manchester. Not overly impressed by the appointment of Axl.

I suppose I'll have to wait to see some reviews/video of him doing a full AC/DC set before deciding if I'll bother going or not.

I'm going to manchester gig with two mates. My mates girlfriend got him tickets as a gift so we will still go along as it was a lovely present. However I fear the worst. Saw AC/DC a few years ago at MK bowl and they were really good. Saw G n R twice at Wembley stadium back in the day and they were superb but Axl has long since disappeared up his own backside. Not sure he can even still sing!

Had an email from gigsandtours.com who I got my tickets for Manchester from offering a refund on my tickets. I've got till 5pm Friday 6th May to request the refund.

This date is the day before the European tour starts, so no chance to wait and see reviews.

I guess the 6th of May, or shortly after is when tickets are dispatched..

Have you seen any T&C's for the cancellation - is it a full refund or minus booking fees?

Just a basic email with a link to a customerservice page where you put in you reference number and postcode.

This then just shows the order, a status of the order (awaiting tickets) and a contact us option, one of the dropdown questions is 'request a refund'

Will talk to my brother to see what he wants to do, I'm leaning towards a refund.

I've just been offered face value for the tickets and the hotel we had also booked for the night.

Thoughts? I'm thinking go for it, however, what if on the slim chance it's epic????

I think it will be every bit as woeful as I am expecting frown

I'm still in two minds..

There's always the chance of going, with very low expectations and actually enjoying it, and/or at least getting p*ssed on the extortionate lager that will be sold there.

No mention of who the support is either, which doesn't help - if it was one or two bands I wouldn't mind seeing before Fat Axl, it might convince me to keep the tickets. That, or take the refund and going to see PiL instead.

SeeTickets have offered a full refund. Hmmm.

Quite pissed off by the whole affair, was to be the third time I've seen them, with a gap of 35 years!

I got the email from TicketMaster last night. Within 10 minutes the claim was filed so i should be getting my money back.
There must have been some pressure on the promoter to do this i gave up trying to get a refund through TicketMaster.

I had the same email for the London gig. I'm not sure, but will probably go for the refund. When is the first AC/DC concert with Axl? If it gets good reviews I might go...
