Get Me In!'s website is utter tosh, there seems to be no actual way of contacting them that doesn't take you back to the FAQs section and gives the excuse that "Your question doesn't match any of the searches", or some such bks!

Hi Martin.

I contacted them via Twitter and they said no refunds as the event was still going ahead.

I then contacted them yesterday and asked why, if seetickets etc are now refunding people, they wouldn't be doing similar.

They sent me a link with a different form to fill in and said they will be seeing what they can do..... a definite move forward from the outright "no chance" I got the first time around...

Just to give you a further update. Received an email from GMI today with an agreement to give me a full refund. Apparently should take between 3 and 15 days for the money to show in our account.

I can't stand axl rose, having seen him in 06. Wouldn't pay money to see him again (more due to him being a monumental tt, rather than his music).

The refund gives me an extra load of beer tokens for glastonbury (actually most of my beer fund is now sorted from the refund ), so it makes sense for me

Same here, I'm taking the gamble. Loved them for several decades, and anyway Johnson himself was an imposter (I know, I know!).

Listened to the clips on YouTube, if that is Rose singing then I reckon it's pretty good, certainly way better than Johnson.

No probs, thought it might be helpful if they are difficult.

The deadline is this Friday, so be a bit wary of that.

Still got no internet at home, so I've set up a Twitter account at work.

Just got to find the details of my tickets and work out how to do this tweeting thing now!
