Disturbed - Sound of Silence
Discussion
This got me 100% when I heard it first yesterday.
It will no doubt divide opinion, its brave, minimalist and I absolutely love the video interpretation.
I reckon as a music video goes, its up there with One by Metallica for something that makes you think a bit more than its just another music video.
The vocal and the interpretation made me listen more to the lyrics than I ever did with the original. I think its a superb effort.
full marks from me

That was a very moving rendition of a beautiful classic
Loved the orchestration and the feeling in the last verses.
Excellent, must play it again.

Immortalized is another quality album by Disturbed. Also a fan of "Save our last goodbye", "Who taught you how to hate" and "Legion of Monsters"
As you said above, also think that the video is excellent, and love the artwork that follows them through
If you are not familiar with them and like this as a cover, look up their cover of Land of confusion by Genesis as well

Cheers for this. Never heard of him/them but will be checking out later.
The words seem more significant delivered the way he does.
Probably their most well known song is "Down with the sickness" - an alternative version to which is the swing version at the end of Dawn of the deadThe words seem more significant delivered the way he does.
It was posted here a while back (Covers Topic) and certainly got to me and others

It's quite like, but I feel I've heard it just about enough already. I get the feeling it's the sort of song that will get picked up for emotional VTs on TV programmes, or an advert, and we're all going to get sick of it...
