Mixing desk question

Question:
I'm looking for a smallish mixing desk - 8-16 inputs

However, I have a requirement for an optical dig audio in.
analogue & 2 channel dig audio out, and can be optical or aes/ebu
multitrack output via USB would be a bonus

other than that I can be flexible (if it has some dig fx built in, all the better - but not a deal breaker)

Late to this particular thread... but sounds like an Edirol/Roland M-16DX would tick all the boxes you're looking for. They're long discontinued, but sometimes pop up on eBay.

Good luck - there's two for sale there at the moment (neither of them mine - keeping mine since there's nothing else I found that could easily replace it!).
