Blink 182

For any of you that grew up late 90's early 20's like me, Blink 182 are back with a new song (full album due 1st july)

The lineup has changed slightly, gone is Tom Delonge (1 of the original trio) and in comes Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio), meaning Mark is the only original member now as Travis wasn't the original drummer.

The sound of the new song is pretty much similar to Mark & Travis's last band without Tom, +44.

I'm more of a fan of the stuff Travis has been doing with DJ's and other bands such as Transplants but will probably go see them live if they come to the UK, just to see Travis drum live again.

having watch youtube clips of Matt fronting BLink 182, i am preferring the new lineup. I'm a big Alkaline trio fan anyway, but it is a good way forward.

BLink 182 were a comedy band to watch, i think they lost that fun in recent years, i hope that sillines comes back.

I used to be a massive Blink fan, they used to be great in school/college years. It does sound very +44 ish not a bad thing. Still have TOYPAJ on my playlist due to the memories.

The problem with this sort of music is that when you're young it strikes a chord. I think perhaps I'm too old now.

Thought id post in here again.

Blink are back with "One More Time" album , Matt Skiba is out and back comes Tom. Instantly the album sounds like old Blink. I liked the last two albums but they had a distinct sound that wasn't "Blink" especially as Travis played on one Goldfinger album and that sounded the same as the two blink albums with Matt.

Track 4 was actually recorded as a new Box Car Racer song but has ended up on the Blink album, shame I enjoyed the Box Car Album.
