Hi all

Need some input please. I want to replace the stereo I have at home. Looking for what is essentially a mini hifi, with speakers *happy to buy as a package or speakers separate (I know richer sounds offer this).

Mini hifi must haves:
- cd player
- Bluetooth, so I can connect my iPad/iPhone to it
- sleek and good quality
- DAB
- be priced at 250 - 350 gbp, including the speakers

Any pointers on a make and model?

Whatever the current Denon mini system would probably fit the bill. http://www.richersounds.com/product/mini-hi-fi/den... £180 plus speakers.

I have the Denon mentioned above, it's very good. You'll need some decent speakers though - the system is surprisingly bassy. I got a pair of Q Acoustics speakers from RS reduced to about £120. Can't remember which exact type though.

Might be slightly over budget unless you can get it cheaper (no speakers included) but this Pioneer handles literally anything - got one at home and it's flawless.

I really do like this. Is there a Denon system that offers Bluetooth connectivity - so I can simply use my IPad or IPhone to connect?

I could stretch the budget "a little" I guess : )

They do one with Bluetooth but it loses the DAB tuner. The DM40 has USB in for connecting a phone though.
