In the last few weeks I have become an apprentice at a small Sheffield based drum workshop (no names, admins I am not advertising I want it like the jewelry thread) and was wondering if anyone had an interest in seeing what we do? Mods feel free to delete

Example: Experimenting with a new finish for a 14 x 5.5 patina copper snare. One shot half done, other complete

I'm not a drummer, but know and regularly employ the best in the UK, so would be interested in your work.

I'm actually heading off for some charity work over the next 3 days, but once back I'll properly link pictures and format nicely. Thanks for the interest smile (I'm actually not a drummer myself, the boss is though)

Been rather ill, hence lack of update. Anyway

Little bit more of the patina, with a standard untreated copper next to it

And one finished today, using new titanium tube lugs and a custom laser marked throw
