Anybody got any idea when (or if?) the 2nd album is due out?
I think If You Wait is a superb album and was hoping that they'd come out with an equally good 2nd album by now. But it's almost 3 years now which is a little worrying.....
Musical differences, writer's block, etc, etc?

1) A bit of a wait after the first, or
2) Not as good as the first?
Hopefully in this case its the former....
There have been many, many bands that have only released one great album before disappearing off into obscurity. Hopefully this isn't the case with London Grammar, but three years might be a little too long.
These days popular music moves very quickly, if you take CHVRCHES for example they have released two albums and an EP since 2013 and because of this have stayed popular and touring etc.
I do hope London Grammar release another album, Hannah Reid's voice is chilling.

If You Wait was one of the last albums I bought, so good, peaceful, eerie, different to what I normally listen to but I love it.
Anyone seen them live, must be quite a surreal experience I think.
Twice - one in Brxiton Academy, one at GlastonburyAnyone seen them live, must be quite a surreal experience I think.
Her voice is excellent live too, pretty tight live performance but obviously she is not a particularly extrovert band leader. Very easy on the eye.
They've just been announced as a headliner of a festival in Australia in December. It's their first live gig in ages, so I'm assuming it means a second album is on the way... Fingers crossed for plenty of UK dates, saw them twice when they were touring their first album and they are utterly sublime.

Yes, I admit that I do prefer Daughter more than London Grammar (I have the LG album and 2 daughter albums on vinyl - always end up putting the latter on the turntable..)
Love London grammar, and I've listened to all of daughters songs. Seen daughter live twice and met elena tonra!!Both produce incredible music!
Little update, they've got a new song out, Rooting For You.
Fingers crossed a tour to be announced...
