I'm creating a playlist of excellent driving songs that get me right in the mood for giving it a bit of stick.

Can anybody recommend me their favourites?

Here are a few examples of what I have already added:
Coming Undone - Korn
Chelsea Dagger - The Fratellis
Blue Orchard - The White Stripes
Gasoline - Seether

Down with the sickness - Disturbed
Numb - Linkin Park
Getting away with murder - Papa Roach
Killin in the name of - RATM

Depends on my mood tbh. Love a bit of Disturbed if I am in a bit of a darker mood biggrin

Biggest car accident I had was to Delirium - Silence (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oTLJjoW867g)

Spun / pirouetted my Max Power Ford Ka across 3 lanes plus a merger lane on the A1 in rush hour on a Saturday lunchtime on a match day ... managed to miss every vehicle and rolled gently into the central Armco

Damage ... one cracked rear light (driver), scuffed bumper plastic and a missing tow eye cover

Guardian angels that day ... still can't drive and have that on the stereo though (some 20yrs on)

Back in the early 90's - the album "Reckless" by Brian Adams. Crashed 3 cars in 6 months while listening to it, and decided it was cursed, and too dangerous to have it in the car any more.

Fast forward to 2010. Found the CD in a cupboard, bunged it in the car for a weekend run, thinking that the curse would have passed. Came back on a low loader with the front end seriously broken frown

I now change the channel on the radio if one of his songs comes on!

I crashed my mums Clio in 1994 whilst 'Crash' by The Primitives was playing on a compilation tape a mate had made me.

The recover guy thought this hilarious when I turned the ignition back on and it came blaring out of the speakers.

There must be something wrong with me because that makes me want to burst my ear drums so I never have to listen to anything ever again haha. Personal preference I guess, nobody else seems to like my music and all reach for the aux cable as soon as they get in the car

Metallica - Am I Evil especially from 4:05 onwards when it speeds up!

My mates/missus know I'm about to "go fast" when this song comes on as I shut up (I'm quite chatty normally) & both hands go to the wheel and whats worse is that it's completely automatic, I don't even realise I'm doing it. It's like I'm in an a fugue state where I'm so utterly focused on the car/road that everything else just disappears, well until my missus whacks me or my mates start gibbering and phantom braking biggrin
