Marillion really are an undiscovered gem. OK I'm biased, they are my favourite band and I absolutely love them. Do yourself a favour Taita, log on to Racket Records (the band's own shop) and order Marbles, or Out Of This World, or Season's End, and take it from there. Beware, they are so good, it's addictive!

Less is More - the acoustic version of some of the belters is good as well.

Have to say I've not listened to any Marillion since Fish either. Loving it so thanks for this thread!

What I would really like to know is.... What do we call Assassins who accuse Assassins anyway?, my friend.

Went to Manchester last night, they were excellent as usual.

The Leavers was epic with great CGI backdrop, loved it!!

One of those people who think that Marillion can only be Marillion with Fish.

Lost their edge since he went. Not heard anything that matches Misplaced Childhood or Fugazi because the cutting edge has been lost to my ears on the angst. Not sure quite how to describe it.

The new stuff is good, it just isn't as good.

Step away from the weekend beer Gandahar! Hogarth is miles better. IMO, obvs! But they're much more nuanced and multi-layered now. Anyway, Fish was so last century.

they should have changed their name when Fish left, the music is totally different.

i saw them at the Royal Albert Hall the other week - good show. although setlist wasn't the best
