Airhead - Boing!

Released in the early 90s and had a couple of singles released from the album that got a bit of airplay.
I bought the album and it was quite good, guitar-driven pop.
Good call - Funny how is a great track

Roy World - Man in the Machine.

I bought the album after hearing one of their songs on the radio and nothing ever since.

That's who I thought of first.

Queen. They only did Queen - Greatest hits.

I think this is a brilliant album but I doubt that many people would have heard of her.

I think the reason Jeff Buckley didn't release a second album was because he died. Just saying...

Good choice - forgot about her. You are right - it was a cracking album. I wonder what happened to her.

Was going to try and be smart and suggest Animal Logic - three-piece band featuring Stewart Copeland, Stanley Clarke and Deborah Holland. Really enjoyed their one album... but a quick check on Wikipedia suggests they did a follow-up. Therefore, what about Jeff Wayne of War Of the Worlds fame.. or is that cheating?

A lot of people mock it. Even their singer said it was the most pretentious album ever in a posthumous ionterview. However it did spawn a superb single. Ladies and gentlemen I give you :

Arcadia: So Red The Rose

Which was brilliant ridiculed at the time as So Dead The Nose by Max Headroom I think
And Mr Le Bon's views on it were somewhat more affectionate late last year:

The single that you may remember - Election Day

Unfortunately she fell out with Wind-up Records (Evanescence, Seether, Creed) and got new management and seems to have changed her musical direction. She even had a band together but nothing came of it. Would have liked to see her make another album and build on what was a very promising Rock career. What a waste!

Colourbox - Colourbox 1985

Formed by brother Steve and and Martin Young. Later went on to have a number one single, Pump Up The Volume under the band name MARRS.

Steve Young died earlier this year in his early 50s. Cause of death unreported.
