As its Among the Living I think I'm going to have to go to the date in Brum!

I'd like to see Kraftwerk when they tour the UK but have resigned myself to the fact that I'll never get a ticket.

A further 2 dates are on sale tomorrow (Brighton and Oxford), worth a go.

Found it easier to fly to Europe to see them in the past to be honest and go for one of those dates, don't seem to get the scrum....or a secondary ticketing market.

that would be it - really good album - superb production.

might see if I can get to one of the gigs. I saw them support maiden on the......No prayer for the dying tour iirc they were great.

maiden were too but they were promoting a poor album imho - Bruce was waining by then and the split was on teh cards

Feb - St Paul & the broken bones, Bristol
Feb - Hannah Wants, brixton
Mar - Underwold, Ally Pally
MAR - The XX, brixton
Apr - Ragnbone Man, shepherds bush
April - Weller, Bristol
May - Michael Kuwanuka, Bristol
May - Simple Minds, Bristol
June- Kraftwerk, Oxford
June -Stone Roses, Wembley
June - Bryan Ferry, Hampton Court
July - love supreme festival, Glynde
July - North Sea Jazz Festival
August - Defected Records dance festival, Croatia

Looking at a festival in Portugal with Depeche Mode & Foo fighters headlining, also a day or 2 at Reading & wildlife festival at Brighton.

Not bad for starters, one upside to getting divorced; no moaning about 'school night' gigs, or complaints that they 'are your thing'

We are off to see Radiohead at Arras next July. Made up with this. Closer and cheaper than seeing them in the uk.
Similar thing here, but going to Florence instead, in June. We had just come back from a short break in Florence when the tickets went on sale so thought it would be nice to go back. Less hassle getting tickets than trying for UK ones.

So far I have:

4/3 - Elbow @ Hammersmith Apollo
9/3 - The Xx @ Brixton
3/4 - Grandaddy @ The Roundhouse
13/4 - Paul Weller @ Reading Rivermead
14/5 - Frank Turner acoustic show @ The Roundhouse
1/7 - The Maccabees @ Ally Pally

Plus Glastonbury, Reading and End of the Road festivals and probably Latitude, subject to line-up on the latter

All in all shaping up to be a good year!
