Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends
We're so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside
There behind a glass stands a real blade of grass
Be careful as you pass, move along, move along

Come inside, the show's about to start
Guaranteed to blow your head apart
Rest assured you'll get your money's worth
Greatest show in Heaven, Hell or Earth
You've got to see the show, it's a dynamo
You've got to see the show, it's rock and roll, oh

Right before your eyes we pull laughter from the skies
And he laughs until he cries, then he dies, then he dies

Come inside, the show's about to start
Guaranteed to blow your head apart
You've got to see the show, it's a dynamo
You've got to see the show, it's rock and roll, oh

So sad that we seem to be coming to the end of an era of virtuoso musicians. Prog has always had its critics but they can't take it away from these guys, they are true masters of their instruments.

RIP Greg
Well said. I've been a massive fan of ELP, The Nice, Atomic Rooster and King Crimson since my teens and despite prog rock losing its 'coolness' years ago it's still my favourite genre. Cranked 'Tarkus' up on the car stereo today, then 'Pictures at an Exhibition'. Great memories, great music. Thanks Greg.....

Barry Godber (1946–1970), a computer programmer, painted the album cover. Godber died in February 1970 from a heart attack, shortly after the album's release. It was his only album cover

On the first record I ever bought :

There´s no end to my life
No beginning to my death
Death is Life

RIP Mr. Lake , thanks for the good music and good times.
