was going to (finally!) subscribe to CR mag this year (Mrs Iroc was lining it up as a b'day pressie) only to find out that they went bust on 19th Dec (super-sad news for the staff)

I subscribe to both CR and Metal Hammer, got my copy of Metal Hammer through the post yesterday, much to my surprise. Been bought back by their previous owners, Future Publishing, for £800k who had previously sold them for about £10.4M. That's good business!
