It's like the John Peel 'The Latter Years' station, just play obscure crap. Is it cool and trendy to play low-fi ste? I wonder if anyone in the BBC 6 music work force have ever heard Aja by Steely Dan?

I should think most of them have. None are particularly young and all grew up being Journo's on music papers or involved in the music biz in some way. Maconie and Ratcliffe particularly knowledgeable on crap Prog rock.

Possibly the only bad thing about 6 music is (aside from appalling Saturday afternoon and evening) the playlist system which will play a song to death for a a month and then disappear of the face of the earth. But then all radio stations do that and at least in this case its not a crap Robbie Williams type or something.
The fact there are now 2 active threads on pistonheads devoted to slagging off the Sleaford Mods has to be a good thing and for those who don't like the diversity there is always Radio 2 and you wont be missed.

Punk in attitude and always giving credit to Steve Igs. I guess if it winds up pistonheaders then yes its Punk.
