Not seen much of him in the last 10 years so I can't say I'm too bothered either way.
He's supporting Ed Sheeran on his European dates soon, think he has a new album coming soon.

He's also got a new song out soon, written by Ed Sheeran, that doesn't sound like much he's done before. There's a line in it that says something like "I'd say you were beautiful, but I've used that line before!".... hehe

As others have said, very very sharp on Twitter.

I've not met him but my rendition of 'Your Beautiful' aided in my pursuit of Mrs Enjo so he gets points for that. (Not my type of music but evidence shows it works).

I enjoy his twittering smile

You only have to look at his lyrics to see that he doesn't take himself too seriously;

James Blunt said:
People say the meanest things
Yeah I've been called a dick, I've been called so many things
I know I've done some st that I admit deserves it, but that
That don't mean it doesn't sting
Saw you standing outside a bar
Would have said you're beautiful but I've used that line before
Now I've had my share of shallow nights
'Cause I was scared to get it right
So I was hanging with whoever

Horrible music to my ears, but I have a real respect for him. Funny, living the dream, cutting as hell on social media.

He doesn't take himself too seriously (Sometimes you get the feeling he doesn't take himself seriously ENOUGH!), which is refreshing in the world of pop music.

Not my cuppa musically, but I can think of far worse people to have a beer with!

His time in the army probably helped in that respect.

Top bloke! Saw him in concert. He ran through the crowd to get on stage, seemed to really love what he was doing and half way through jumped into the crowd and 'surfed' around on us!! I can't fault him, he's never in the media for anything stupid, seems a top bloke every time he is interviewed and I really like his music. clap
