1964 - First concert i went to was The Undertones June 1980 and what a cracking night that was. The only time i ever saw a support band (The Moondogs on this occasion) do 2 encores. Ah Happy Days.

it's time to swap out one for me.... I'm losing Pink Floyd and Evanescence and replacing with German goth-rockers Mono Inc and Lord of the Lost - only discovered them during lockdown and absolutely love them. Are they as good as PF? Almost certainly not, but if it was only down to how good someone is technically then you're going to miss some great music

Only 8 for me, most of what I now like is unsigned/fleeting/solo, by definition they can't be considered top 50 of all time. Seen all but Doors/JD live.

The Doors
The Smiths
Joy Division
REM
DMA's
Echo & The Bunnymen
The Chameleons
Teardrop Explodes
