Right enough Rez, for now, into my own personal archives. Had the white label of this, pretty sure they were called Through The Fire (T.T.F) at that point, not The Time Frequency.

To add, the white label I had, had nothing on it, other than T.T.F etched on the inside. No tracklisting, no text, it was the very definition of a white label, given by John Campbell to my uncle, who was in wherever it was pressed at the time.

Yeah, I sold all my vinyl and turntables at the turn of the Century. I saw how things were going with digital i.e. .mp3s, and I don't regret selling. I digitised what I wanted e.g. all the UR and S.I.D releases I had. Must admit I get a twinge, as the one I had is not on discogs, and only one version is on point, all the others are updated versions. :|

Some nice tunes posted zb. Yeh, I hope everyone is having a good time at Rez. It is good to see it back and would be nice to see it stay as a semi regular fixture. While my tolerance for a nightful of gabba is pretty high I think I prefer smaller venues and the line up relies quite heavily on happy hardcore and hardstyle which I am not a massive fan of in it's current form, also I am really bored of piep kicks that are prolific in alot of current harder styles. Got to agree that pretty much all dance music has become to style specific. In the future I will hopefully make it to a future Rez for old times sake.

Rezerection returns tomorrow, I'm long since retired from that nonsense, I also stepped away completely from Rez in '94/'95ish when the went from eclectic where you could hear: Sasha, Tanith, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Lenny D, Bass Generator, The Producer, Loftgroover, Grooverider, Joey Beltram, N-Joi PA, to just pretty much happy hardcore with a side serving of gabba. I don't mind some of it, but not all night.

Anyway, here's to the glory days

Splendid set that from The Producer, right up my alley. One of the last Rez before I chucked it, had The Producer and LoftGroover B2B, absolutely malevolent. Had a 6-pack tape set of that night.

A few of my mates are slowly surfacing after the festivities of last night, reports back are good. Joey Beltram was excellent, as was Frankie Bones and Lenny Dee, real NY reunion night.

This caught my ear:

Seems to have been quite a few official cameras on the stage, good chance of the sets getting put out there.

^^^ Sounds like a remix of Pessa Pessa.

Having looked back at the line up I am actually a bit annoyed with myself for not going. Hopefully the recorded sets do make their way out.

I think if Rez can get the balance between old, new and different styles right they should be onto a winner (hopefully).

Starving Insect also breaks down and recreates "Arise" by Bulldozer Project, arguably with a better vocalist.

A proper hair stand up on the back of your neck tune for me.

Tune Lenny Dee plays is Speedy J - Pullover.

Not sure what mix it is, could be the above speeded right up.

Stuck in my mind, the greatest compliment Tony ever got as DJ, was some girl once told him that when pinging on E, she can only orgasm when she's getting fked to one of his mixtapes. biglaugh
