La Ritournelle by Sebastien Tellier was on a 2004 album but is a tune that I didn't hear until years after. It's now a definite "top 10" for me.
Their ability to paint a picture with words is a gift.

On a flat roof, there's a boy
Leaning against a wall of rain
Aerial held high
Calling "Come on thunder
Come on thunder!"

My new favourite song right now is Suzie Q by Creedence Clearwater Revival. I just can't get enough of that bluesy sliding guitar riff in the middle. And John Fogerty's sublime voice of course.

This would be my new favourite song if it was done as a regular tune without the weird bits in it.

BC Camplight - The Last Rotation of Earth.

I'm almost embarrassed to say that though. The guy (Brian Christinzio) is clearly very talented and I have no musical talent at all, so who am I to criticize?

Amusing to watch. I did so as if listening to Cerys in my kitchen on a Sunday morning. I like Cerys.

Not really a new favourite but this has been stuck in my head thanks to my partner's tiktok addiction, it's pretty catchy.

A friend sent me that the other day, but I forgot to listen. You prompted me to listen to it. I'm not quite sure what to make of that!

Ive had quite a bit of nirvana going on recently but thats not new to me.

So new ones are the clash - rock the casbah and the smiths (again) with there is a light that never goes out. Didnt like it when i first heard it hehe

gets right under your skin does James. studio work is good, but live they are something else. still got goosbumps from the 2012 orchestral tour.

Anyway, todays new fave song is Black Rose by Volbeat. Punk pop rock mastery.
