Oooh early '90s goodness, 2 albums that rate very highly in the soundtrack to my youth, along with Quicksand "Slip" and Sick Of It All "Scratch The Surface"

Brian Eno - Small Craft on a Milk Sea

Enjoying the ambient bits more than the heavier glitchy bits

Kai Tracid – Liquid Skies
I'm loving Gui Boratto at the moment (I never go more than a few days without listening to Chromophobia), and I just downloaded Gregor Tresher's A Thousand Nights which i really like. I'll have to see if i can find the Boratto material you mention here. I've also enjoyed Kai Tracid years ago so i'll see if I can find that too.

I just got Ellen Allien and Apparat - Orchestra of Bubbles too. I also got Ellen's SooL but prefer the stuff with Apparat as it's a bit more interesting.

The Field are up on my favourites list too at the moment, definitely worth checking out if you like that kind of atmospheric-minimalistic-electronic type stuff. I got Yesterday And Today, From Here We Go Sublime and Sound Of Light; Nordic Light Hotel. SoL;NLH is 4 tracks (Morning, Day, Evening and Night) that follow on brilliantly from each other in a kind of soundscape-esque descriptive progression of a day's mood, for want of a better way of putting it. Well that's how it seems in my mind, but i'm no good at putting things into words rolleyes

Old Gregg,

In a similar vein, try to find stuff by Sniper Mode, which is Gregor Tresher in electro favour, very good.

The Marcel Dettmann remix of Ellen Alien 'Go' is good too.

I found The Rivington yesterday too and whilst looking for it I discovered Global Underground's Digitized series. I've bought 1 & 2 off iTunes so far and will probably buy 3 also. Digitized 2 has the Martinez remix of The Rivington on it. I've only listened to snippets from D2 at the moment but it seems right up my street, i think i'm going to enjoy it a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions of Sniper Mode and the Dettmann remix, i'll check them out.

edit: I'm a bit disappointed with Digitized 2 after a full listen. It has some good tracks but others are a bit lacking.

Waiting on a "This is Menace" album to arrive at the moment. Got their 2nd offering from iTunes and it's rather good, so looking forward to this.

Let's Go Round Again: the Best of the Average White Band

Absolutely superb, paid £5 for it and honestly one of the best ways I can think of spending a fiver. I never really appreciated how good AWB were until now - endless hits that are so easy to listen to. For me, one of the best bands to ever come out of Scotland!
