You don't need to buy the SACD's or DVD-Audio's just watch out for the Albums mastered for them. The quality of Master has to be better which has a positive effect on the CD version.

Does the remastering to 5.1 not make DVD Audio worse for stereo?

I don't know about DVD Audio, but most SACD disks tend to be hybrids with a CD track and a separate SACD track.

Not my latest purchase but certainly brilliat is
ALABAMA3 - Exit to Cold Harbour Lane.
Acid House Country.

Also hoping that a tape of Zappa plays Zappa is released, the concert in the Dam was superb.

The last album I bought was called Radiodread - it's OK Computer in a funky dread style. Quite interesting if a little odd.

Regina Spektor - Begin to Hope

Sounded interesing and good reviews, but a bit of a one trick pony of an album.

All 3 albums from The Streets in one go. I do like them actually. Although I'm not listening to them much at the moment. I'm going through more of a Scrubs music phase. paperbag

The Streets are brilliant. Some people dont like the delivery, I do, but listen to the stuff. Its more real than most music, its bloody hilarious in places and sad in others.

If you listen to a grand don't come for free from start to finish it superb. In fact I will now...

[Turk] Now, that's wha' I'm talking about [/Turk]

I think they're brilliant. AGDCFF is great, and Empty Cans is a clever song which you really should properly listen to. Some of the stuff on Original Pirate Material is fantastic too, like It's Too Late, Has It Come To This and Weak Become Heroes. Love The Streets!
