Apart from the blindingly obvious 'Nevermind' from Nirvana and the impressive 'Ten' from Pearl Jam......name me some other albums of this genre for my collection

Stone Temple Pilots etc etc etc.............

Not sure if it's grunge, but Love by The Cult is worth a listen.

I'd say possibly earlier Smashing Pumpkins than Siamese Dream, Gish is actually a very good album. And the B side album to Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot is bloody good. Have to say thought that songs like Mayonnaise, Disarm, and Soma, Today are brilliant, and personally far outclass Nirvana stuff.

Mellon Collie is fantastic too. Most music execs said Billy was mad for even trying a double album, but many now consider it up there with the best doubles in music history.

Soundgarden - Superunkown.

Bit more mid 90's but still the same sort of stuff. Cornell has the best voice in the genre without a doubt!
