Lets look at our guitars thread

The electric guitar I enjoy playing the most is my dads jap strat which I believe is a 56 reissue very very low action and stays exactly the same all the way down the fretboard. I had it for a week but was a nervous wreck with it as it was his first good guitar and lives in its case.

That sounds like mine; actually a 1957 reissue which was first produced by Fender Japan in 1982 when I got mine. They play really well and have some of the electrics/pickups of the American models. I had mine refinished last year as I'd resprayed it a few times over the years and I wanted it put back to standard. The guy did a lovely job of it and the action is nice and even all over the fingerboard. You have to laugh, I've been a long time lurker on here, as I just love electric guitars!
Anyhow, somebody posted a Huey Morgan Teaches Guitar on the Youtube thread, and I thought, I'll have a look on Ebay see how much I can buy one for?
An hour later, I owned this! A whole £82!
I now need an amp for playing at home?
And, is this a good starting point?
