What is that one like? I am very boring when it comes to guitars so tend to like "traditional" ones rather than shapes that are a bit more bold, but I have a soft spot for Firebirds. Love the white and gold, that is a great combination.

It's not actually white, it's a custom colour- Heather Poly. This photo shows the colour better..Love the white and gold, that is a great combination.
It's a beautiful sounding guitar and is a lovely player. People tend to be put off by Firebirds as they can be neck heavy, this one balances well due to the smaller headstock and Grover tuners. They usually have a larger headstock and Banjo tuners, this is believed to be one of just three Firebird VIIs with this headstock. It's a rare 'bird!
It sounds like this..

Nur, how you getting on with your PRS?
I was at a mate's halloween party on Saturday night, he’s a drummer cum guitarist (Used to be in a band called Logan, they nearly made it)
Anyway, he picked up a PRS SE Custom 24, in blue, very similar to yours, on Friday.
I had a shot on Saturday night, albeit only for 5 mins, and I have to admit, it done nothing for me.
Very nice guitar, nicely made, great big frets, but I dunno, didn’t do it for me.
I used to want one, years ago, when I started getting into what I’d call ‘decent’ music these days, and Carlos Santana played one. Maybe I just built it up to be something superhuman in my head, and it turns out it’s just a really decent solid guitar.
Very well, thanks! As you've said, it's just a really decent, solid guitar. Great to play, huge range of tone and it sustains for days. I'm very pleased Not the most "soulful" guitar I have but it definitely has it's own character. Having an amplifier again is really demonstrating how messy my playing has become through inactivity Getting there though. Now the only problem I have is finding enough time to play as often as I'd like.

You should love it! Well, I love mine.
I like the short scale of the Jaguar, but I like the simplicity of these, standard Jags have way too many switches and knobs!

No sign yet. I sat there on the weekend thinking ah well no rush, if it comes it comes. Now I'm on tenterhooks!

This is the guitar thread, but can we extend it to include amps/pedals/other equipment?
A "Show us your amp" thread seems a bit unnneccesary!

I've been naughty.
It's on it's way. Fingers crossed it arrives Tuesday. I feel both guilt and excitement. Mainly excitement. Woohoo!
Where did you get that from? I've been on a P90 guitar search and haven't come across that model at the various places I've looked. I tried a Gibson Melody Maker and a Tele hollowbody with P90s on Monday, but didn't like the feel of either, so I was planing on just moding my 'spare' Tele (a cheapy Squier Affinity one) and putting P90s on that, but seeing yours has me thinking...It's on it's way. Does it have quite a thick neck? I played an SG a few weeks ago and it had a massive one, bigger than the 50s one on my Les Paul which was a surprise!

This was a slightly drunken eBay purchase. Think it's discontinued now so probably won't find a new one. If you can please don't post a link. I think I probably paid over the odds but I'd rather not know. Update. It's on the van out for delivery!
