Just bought a Yamaha Revstar RS820 like this one - I can't get on with my Les Paul but wanted something with two HB's and no frills and this ticked the box. It's a really great guitar, especially now a set of 10's are on it's and much more me than the LP.
I really like the look of these, no where local sells them though..No, and no.
Used to play OK, but then rugby, basketball and MMA injuries caused arthritis. Throw in nerve damage from a shoulder injury....
I just sit and noodle now. They are all mounted on walls throughout the house, Mrs Don1 thinks of them as art. I try to buy well, where I shouldn't lose much money if I did sell them.
This one for example is actually a fake. Well it's a homage. It's a real Ibanez JS1000, but they didn't do any chrome 1000's, except for Joe. It's properly nickel plated, very light, plays well (unlike the JS2's and 10th anniversaries apparently). But as it was the price of a normal good condition used 1000, it was a no brainer.
