Yes, it's a work of art.

I could just sit and stare at it all day.

Stat, Tele, LP. 335 or a PRS for me (on looks only and in my not very humble opinion).
I'm so glad you said that, I thought it might just be me!

My favourite guitar of all time. Just didn't suit me for playing (that neck being so heavy and so far over there).

Still looks gorgeous; I should get one just to hang on the wall.
It looks like an Explorer and a Telecaster had an evil kid, I like it!.

Agreed.
Not as ugly as an Explorer though!

Anyone for a Doozy? This thing is exquisitely well made. Sounds alright too.

You get these in the case, nice touch.

Who are you?! Those are beautiful. Do you own a guitar shop and just bring those home for that picture?

Nice collection - is that a very played or intentionally reliced strat?

Singlecoil - that is how it came back from a luthier.... But I did have issues with how it was returned originally. I'll have a look. Thanks!

There's a lot of tension on the bridge pieces and sometimes if the bolt isn't tightened enough the bridge can pull forward. For the G bridge to be forward of the B at all, let alone by that much, suggests that is what has happened (assuming fairly conventional string gauges of course)

I have it on good authority there will be a specialist guitar repair/upgrade shop opening in Bletchley soon, if you would like someone else to have a a look at it smile

New (to me) Vibtage V100 Icon Series PGM
I can't believe how well it plays/ sounds for what they cost. Superb price of kit.
I'm a huge Gary Moore fan too which helps biggrin

I've been watching lots of messiahsez ( link ) videos on youtube and got myself some GAS for a Resonator.

A guy was selling a Gretsch Honey Dipper on a local music sale page on fb for £450, as-new, rrp £625. So i had a bit of a look around and found the same thing new from Thomann for £350 here so I offered him £275 and explained why i was giving him such a low offer.

Anyway, he told me to ps off so i bought one from Thomann, cant wait!

I've been eyeing these Marshall 2525H heads up for a while (as a change from my 70s style JMP-1H 1 watt head), stumbled on a great deal yesterday so I came home with it. smile Quite a different tone to my other heads/amps (Marshall JMP1-H, Vox NT15G2 & Orange Tiny Terror) plus a Fender Blues Junior Tweed. It also seems to work well with my various guitars (the presence control seems to help there), with more than enough gain for even my very low output vintage Strat pickups.

This weekend I'll be finishing off putting together a 2x12 empty cab I bought from Thomann. I'm putting two Celestion Greenback speakers in it (one in so far and it sounds great even with a 12" hole where the second speaker needs to go). Looking forward to trying the Jubilee through it instead of a smaller 1x12 Greenback I'm currently using.

Still in need of a stratocaster, a few bargains to be had this easter so likely to happen soon if i can find the time. Either mexican standard, american professional or suhr classic pro.

Still not made mind up as the Suhr seems like the best and i keep getting drawn to it but very difficult to arrange a play as opposed to the fenders which are easy to try.

Oh the decisions!

There seems to be quite a range of prices there?

Yeah i get that, not too concerned about the cost but dont want to end up with the Suhr and not like it

For me it is more what will play nice,i like the feel of my Les Paul Deluxe, and like the the feel of my dad's cij strat. I know the answer is to get a second cij strat but that seems like a waste as can borrow his whenever i fancy but would like my own.

Will try to find the time to go up and look at a few and if cant find one to my liking i may take a punt on the Suhr
