Yup. They are made buy a guy called Martin Garton in Lancashire. He does faithful remakes of old Fenders and Marshalls, plus his own designs...
They are, left to right;
80w 'high power' Twin modelled after the original Fender amp which was only around in 1959; before then they were 40w - Keith Richards collects them apparently...
5E3 Tweed Deluxe - about 18w and on top of it is a reverb/tremolo unit also made by Martin.
I have a Fender '65 RI Deluxe reverb too - been all round the houses over the years, had Marshall, Mesa Boogie, other Fenders - i'm finally happy. I no longer have any amp G.A.S....

Gartone Amps? I've heard of this guy, bookmarked for future reference. They are, left to right;

His Blackface Princeton looks nice. I do wonder if he does the Brownface/Blonde era. I quite fancy a Brownface Princeton. (I've got a 5E3 amp too - Lazy J 20. Love it!)
Those big Tweed Twins are awesome beasts!
I couldn't resist it, so treated myself to an early Christmas present. She's a 2009 Gibson SG Standard, I got her used but in good nick but could do with a new pickguard - i'm thinking of going for a cream one, maybe even cream pearloid. She plays wonderfully, definately a keeper. Goes nicely with the carpet too.

If anyones thinking about a new Les Paul, my tutor has upgraded and is selling his 3 month old LP std for a saving of about £700 over new - and this has done nothing really.
Oh really? Is it a 50's or 60's neck? Got any pics?Animal said:

Any recommendations for an ok budgety Spanish? I've always had one on the fleet, but not for a few years now since the bridge pinged off my last one. I've been playing Mason Williams stuff all week & it's put me in the mood for one, although feeling a touch light since buying the Ron Kirn sexy tele thing.

Yamaha do an awesome Silent Guitar. Good value, excellent for practise in a quiet place... plug in headphones, away you go. I've always secretly coveted one. However, I had a classical made for me by a luthier in Ash Vale and nothing ever seems to outdo it...As far as 'normal' ones go, Cuencas aren't bad at all, and neither are Raimundos. Depends what sound you want. I went for spruce on top, rosewood along the back & sides and an ebony fretboard as I like a brighter sound. The Raimundo & Cuenca I had utilised cedar tops, which I found gave a much softer sound. Don't be a pussy either- on the strings, go high tension or go home.

I'm seriously thinning out the collection to fund one more strat...
SO If anyone wants a 2005 Les Paul faded, a 1976 strat, a 2007 standard strat with a hotrails in the bridge or a Palo Escrito Tele, drop me a line.
