Lets look at our guitars thread

Cheers. Yes, the jazzy was the one guitar I was really interested in but he was needing rid of a big collection of guitars so I took the LP and the Ric because he was desperate! Sold the LP to a mate already and if I can get a grand for the Ric I'll have paid about 200 for the Fender.

Nice haul, congrats!I'll get some of mine up over the weekend hopefully.
Currently the collective is
Fender Eric Johnson Strat - Maple neck version, sunburst
Ibanez Jem 7VW
Ibanez Jem BSB in great condition for it's age
Ibanez Euphora EP10 Acoustic
Ibanez JS1000 BSB
Dean 91E - had this for 20 odd years
Plus a few more that are out on loan (cheaper guitars), but the 6 listed above are my main play things.
Hopefully i'll be adding a Gilmour Strat to the collective soon - wifey might make me get rid of one to make way though (i did have to have a sale when she counted up and i had 16 guitars a couple of years ago). If i do i think the Jem BSB will making way!

After looking at your post at about 4pm, I was googling 80s Ibanez models. I keep wanting something very 80s, an 87 RG550, in a suitably Paul Gilbert-esque 'don't look directly at it without goggles' colour scheme, Desert yellow or shocking pink. Either that or an 87 Charvel Model 2, would like a model 6, but the active pickups put me off a little, shame the model 5 lacks shark fins...Currently the collective is

Got myself a couple of luxxtones recently, have to say absolutely amazing guitar. Always been a fan of the Fender custom shop, Floyd strat kind of thing , and indeed collected a few. Luxxtone have moved it on a mile, necks are smooth & beautifully oiled, attention to detail is spot on, love the dark & silver Floyd bits etc and the arcane pick ups are great...they really are doing amazing guitars over at luxxtone, if you get chance check one out

Ibanez did some limited editions last year for the anniversary of the Rg and S models. All the classic 80's colors were in there... must be a few still floating around 6th Gear said:
Just picked up a Big Tex '55 white guard. Light weight ash body, thin hand rubbed nitro finish, soft V neck, very resonant with a nice translucent finish. Lollar pickups.
The neck has lovely relicing on the back which makes it feel perfectly broken in.
Ramsay liked it as well. Here it is in the collection...

I love the chunky neck, similar feel to my '59 VOS.
Lovely collection, loving the Huber!
