I know its bad form to quote yourself, but I said this on PH over a year ago:

Chris fking Moyles. I would never tire of punching the fat talentless fkwit. I would maybe have to change arms, from time to time. Maybe even organise some form of roster system with my mates but, my God, the beatings would be ceaseless.

All I want from a fking DJ is for him to tell me what the song is called and who its by. I don't want the songs to be interspersed with half a fking hour of inane drivel from a fat tosspot who thinks he's funny - and has salaried sycophants laughing at his monotonous ste .

Someoone asked if you can really hate someone you don't know - and someone said hate is bad. I don't care I hate Chris Moyles and all the verminous wretches like him and would happily fill a mass grave with them tomorrow morning, right after breakfast. In fact fk it, breakfast can wait. I really really hate Chris fking Moyles.
And the same goes for Mills, Westwood, Whiley and all the rest of them. Last night I drifted off to sleep imagining a professional encounter between Chris Moyles and Albert Pierrepoint.

I really miss Mark and Lard, Radcliffe and Maconi are OK, but they miss the genius of the features of the M&L show, fat harry white, Slipknot's army and my favourite of all time- W.A.N.K Cincinnati, pure double-entendre perfection, Butch Schlong and Snatch Friggit hehe I used to have to shut the shop just to listen to it! Come back boys, please? And the rest of you.... fk Off! Oh yes I prefer Radio 2 at the tender age of 26!

Moyles sgs people off too much and his sidekicks are so sarcastic. That Aled has an over inflated opinion of himself.
Sarah Cox talks about herself too much.
Kelly Osbourne is not right for radio although her face is and doesn't know st about st.
Annie Nightingale thinks she's 21.
Big dog thinks he's black.
Zane Lowe speaks wierd.
Jo Whilley thinks she is John Peel.
Chappers thinks he knows more about football than anyone else in the whole world.
Just play some fking music you s!
Superb! Couldnt agree more actually. Driving to work this morning & not 1 song played!
Sort it out you mongs...
LOL Jo Whilley thinks she is John Peel. So true.

Just felt the need to resurrect this thread due to searing rage felt listening to Scott Mills the pathetic, painfully self-aware waster. How on earth do his neurotic unimaginative ramblings qualify as entertainment.

At least white noise isn't offensive.

A few months ago there was random made-up speculation that Moyles was leaving and Mills would get the breakfast show. If it happened I'd expect listener numbers would drop off a cliff. Greg James would be worth listening to if he was then bumped up to the slot Mills has now, apart from that Chris Evans is far better over on Radio 2.

Compared to the local DJ's around here, Moyles is the only option. (I'm not quite old enough to have got into Wogan's show yet!)

Did anyone have the misfortune to hear LH on Moyles this morning? I couldn't bear to listen to the whole thing but the man is an idiot. How can an interview with the current F1 world champion on national radio end up being more about the interviewer than the interviewee?

Disagree - because talking about Hamilton & listening to his monotone voice is soooo dull & predictable, the conversation had to change. In fact, it was Hamilton who ran out of things to say (you can give "the team are donig a great job" in response to a couple of questions afterall) and ended up asking about Moyles / radio.

Personally, I like Moyles & Millsthumbup

What have Moyles and Mills got in common?

They both rhyme with anchor.

I prefer Jonny Vaughan from Capital. Quite amusing at times. Although Moyles is quite amusing when he gets sarcastic. Otherwise he is a fat tt who has gotten too big for his boots. That queer they have on there is unbearable too.

whilst i am not fussed about mills all that much - his team are far better.

when it's chappers (mills) and dave (moyles0 on at the weekend that's a truly entertaining show.. if they then had that girl from mills' show that would be very good and far cheaper than either of the two people been discussed!

(plus i fvcking hate that carrie)!

or just get nihal or zane lowe or someone like that... someone who just seems like a nice knowledgeable guy..!

I listen to Talk Sport - Brazil and Irani - on my commute from about 7.15 to 8am. Then Wright and Durham on the way home.

Radio 1 DJ's do my head in, and I must be getting old as I just don't "get" half the music they play...

I've lost count of the amount of times I've said to the radio 'Play some music, you're a radio station' . . .

Having spent some time in the states, you soon realise how atrocious British radio is. With the odd exception (Radio 5 is very good IMO), there's limited choice of stations - it proabably takes about 10 'skips' on my radio to get past R2, R3 and R4 at the lower end of the bandwidth, then onto god awful commercial Heart FM, which I think should be renamed to Take That FM. Radio 1, as previously mentioned, is full of egotistical pr1cks who think they're bigger than they are, or think they're the next Howard Stern - at least they got rid of Lisa bloody I'Anson . . .. .
