I still listen radio 1.
But only the late evening/night output if I can help it. Less 'personality', more music enthusiasm from the DJs. Thank Odin for the listen again feature.
I don't mind Zane, at least he has an interest in what he plays.
Daytime output is 'lite' tabloid vaginal discharge.

I just find radio 1 annoying generally now. Rather worryingly I prefer Radio 2... they do without the daft noises Radio 1 always seem to be playing in between songs. That Zane Lowe is the worst for that
That's not worrying.Radio 1 largely has a target audience of teenage girls. Musically and with the the banter. It's more worrying that adults still choose to listen to it in the grim hope of staying yooffull.

Moyles for me
Generally have R1 on in the car in the morning, as you can guarantee the news is late, so I get to hear it.
Turn it OFF on way home to avoid that Mills person.
Turned it OFF Monday morning as he was covering Moyles (who is almost as unfunny) - didn't occur to me to turn to R2, that is for my Mum & Dad

I blame the government & their broadcasting laws as I believe that radio stations are only allowed to broadcast a certain percentage of music per hour, so the rest of the time has to be made up with stupid nonsense.
If the government were to reduce these laws then may be we could eliminate these worthless, egotistical "presenters" altogether & possibly get back to back music only interrupted for news & traffic reports.
