39 and looking at my iPod have pretty much all genres covered except for hip hop. When I'm practising drumming it tends to be acid jazz/funk/rythmn and blues/rock but when I'm sitting in front of the computer at work the electronic stuff tends to come out so anything from Zero 7/Air through to Chemical Brothers/Propellerheads and some truly off the wall downtempo electronica.
39. Steve Reich, who doesn't really fall into any category, minimalist I suppose. Delia Derbyshire, who was a genius and about 30 years ahead of her time but again can't be classified. Tangerine Dream and other electronica (Redshift, Arc etc), Richard Thompson, Sandy Denny and some other folk related stuff, Marillion (Fish era), Iron Maiden, Queen, Pulp, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Genesis (was humming Cinema Show on the way into work this morning ... ) and so on.
With a few exceptions not that much different from when I was 19.

No one will like what I like then lol.
I'm 18, and like RnB.. Hip Hop, things like Kanye West, Jay-Z.. Quite alot of the main stream stuff. But i'm not for blasting it out of the speakers down the local McDonalds, just for myself when i'm driving about.
I also like things like Hed Kandi, and Judge Jules on Radio 1 on Fridays is very good aswell.
But things like, Kings Of Leon/Coldplay that kind of stuff I like too. Just not heavy rock or metal at all.

I am in my (late)thirties and have a very wide range of taste that goes from Classical to Black Sabbath.
I'll listen to most things, but will admit that I'm not the greatest fan of Country and Western. It's all about people losing their horse, and then the dog died too. Oh and they've got a broken heart at the same time because they got a D I V O R C E...

I'm 39 as well and mainly listen to blues/rock, bit of 80's heavy metal - getting more into classical music now (think it's a sign of getting old....!)Sim89 said:

AC/DC and similar 70's 80's 90's rock. But will listen to anything I like the sound of, not stuck in one genre.
ETA: except some guy going 'aw yeah' into a microphone 20 times over the course of five minutes with some auto-drumkit beat from a yamaha keyboard in the backgraound and calling it music.

Hmm, where to start.
King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Wishbone Ash, Uriah Heep, Doc Watson, Leo Kottke, Tommy & Phil Emmanuel, Vince Gill, Albert Lee, Pure Prairie League, Leslie West, Gary Moore, Popa Chubby, The Whitlams, Django, Julian Bream, any amount of the classics, Pink Floyd, The Peddlers ( UK from the 60's ).
And so many more, but basically real music by real people with a leaning towards guitar.
Oh yeah 60 in December.

Blimey quite a selection 38, and the only stuff I just can not get on with is c!!ntry & western and this modern R & B / hip-hop sh!te.
Liking:
Classical (though not the loud, shouty stuff like the 1812 Overture)
Jazz (though not hardcore Bebop)
Classic Rock (Zep / Sabbath / Free etc)
Trance
Blues
Metal
Oh, and what's that "dance" stuff where the vocals are like they're being put through a "vocorder" at 78rpm; dance music for pre-teens. I hate that as well.
