Thanks god there was an artist after the song title....
I've no idea how to manifest the rolf icon (or any other) but if I did I'd have posted twelve.

Lily Allen and The Ting Tings.
(I'm a bit nervous that the repossession of my pension-book may well be imminent).

Not the world's biggest D'n'B fan but there's something about High Contrast, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O5enUCYwVc

More gently, I know this has been around for a while but its nice, the kind of tune that if cunningly put on in the background, will have the Missus snuggling up close, allowing you to gradually pour sexual petrol on her spark... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS8NvoMudy8&fea...

I also think this is great: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5OqCU_45M8

White Lies - E.S.T and Fifty On Our Foreheads at the moment. I very much like their style of music, with elements of The Killers and Joy Division in there.

La Ritournelle by Sebastian Tellier is currently up there as a definite favourite at the moment (mainly because it has the best description of falling in love in it, which is how I’m feeling).
Another current fav is You, Appearing by M83 (yeah, got a bit of a thing for French electro/chill music at the moment)
No Handlebars by the Flobots is getting a bit of a play at the moment as well
Scotland’s Shame by Mogwai is a great song which is always good to get cranking

Faure's Pavane

I think this week I've realised how relaxing it really is.
Can I recommend Faure's Requiem to you too? The ultimate in relaxation; he was such a great composer.

The Cantique de Jean Racine within the requiem is fantastic.

I'll tell you as soon as they play ANYWHERE. They are a great band live, but practise almost more rarely than they gig!! It sometimes turns into a shambles.rofl
The MySpace has them under a different name...this is just part of what Chunky are about.

I think that technically the cantique de jean racine is a separate piece - it is certainly not in my score of the the requiem.

Both are ouststanding. And great to sing. In fact in the days when I could sing I managed to solo in the requiem
