Hmm. If I could steal anyone's singing voice it would be Jeff Martin's (ex Tea Party). I'd nick his guitar skills too!

Second choice would be Wayne Hussey of The Mission, who I always thought had a good range and decent sounding voice with just enough whine in it to sound suitably miserable.

In both cases I'd use the voices to sing dark and moody rock songs.

Talking about wanting and using other musicians skills is somewhat hypocritical of me after my recent moan about Kid Rock!
Had never considered Kid Rock and skill in the same sentence.

It works, when used in combination with the words "has" and "no".

Can't decide, but would be between Corey Taylor of slipknot/Stone Sour, Freddie Mercury or Matt Bellamy of Muse.

Skin from Skunk Anansie. OK, I'm the wrong sex to have her voice, but in terms of admiration of ability......

Roger Daltrey. In fact I think I'd probably settle for just being able to sing "Behind Blue Eyes" like he does/did...

Amen, I'd pick Daltrey any day; I'm suprised that it's took a page and a half for his name to be mentioned.

Or would I pick Robert Plant?

Awesome, soulful voice. Checkout the youtube links on the "best live male vocals discussion".

Good call - The Small Faces are a criminally overlooked band in my view and SMs voice was no small part of the magic.

I'd still rather sound like Daltrey though... :-)

Paul Rodgers "THE GODFATHER"

or James Dewar (sadly no longer with us) singer in the Robin Trower Band
