Whack on 'Strong Arm...' - not quite so straight ahead but under Byff's tutelage, the band was never going to be a cauldron of creative imagery in the manner of Gedwold Lee & Co.

Grand Prix, "Samurai". (Maybe not EXACTLY NWOBHM, but if you can have Saxon...)

Judas Priest are up there for me. Although early Def Leppard before they went big hairy was great.

Honourable mention to Whitesnake for awesome song titles - "Rough & Ready", "Slide It In", etc. hehe
I'd suggest, though, that like Budgie Priest weren't really NWOBHM.....

Although I've not heard masses, I sometimes give a 'classic' NWOBHM album/band a go.. Saxon was the last, I think it was Denim & Leather I tried, I didnt get very far into that before it went off.

Unfortunately the only band I genuinely like is Iron Maiden.

Budgie were/are heavy, bluesy rock shirley? Wouldn't say they were/are metal

My favourites were Priest, Maiden and Saxon (in that order). Stained Class, Killing Machine and British Steel were great albums (to name but a few) - Halford's vocals were pure class.

Diamond Head were quite amusing, tho' I only saw them much later when they played the Milton Keynes bowl, where Metallica and a teary-eyed Mustaine's Megadeth had a sort of reunion. Any fans of Dumpy's Rusty Nuts still out there?

Definately!
But this is specifically a NWOBHM thread and Priest were too early for that.

I went to the very same concert. Weren't the Almighty playing too? I remember Megadeth sounding pretty poor, whereas Metallicca (the headliners) sounded awesome.

I think so, tho' I don't remember much of them. Metallica were fantastic but I think you're right that Megadeth were a bit sub-par - Mustaine seemed a bit overwhelmed by the fact that he was playing the same gig as his former Metallica bandmates!
