If so I just have a quick question.

I have tickets to see them in Coventry on Tuesday. However the tickets seem to suggest gates open at 3:30pm. Now I cant see them coming on before 9pm but it would be useful to get a heads up on timings as although I dont really watch the support acts at these things I would like to catch the Enemy.

Cheers

Saw Oasis at Heaton Park in Manchester on the 4th of June, and The Enemy didn`t even turn up, which was poo....

I wasn`t expecting Oasis to be good, but they were bang on!

The Masterplan, I Am The Walrus, even My Big Mouth was ace....

Had no voice the day after.

Saw that, think Tom was ill.

Main reason for Cov over London was the Enemy in their own town should be bang on.

What time did Heaton Park open and what time did Rev & The Makers and then Oasis come on?

WHAT!?!? No Kasabian?

Heaton Park opened at about 3'ish i think, support acts started around 6'ish and Oasis came onstage at about 8.30.
Forecast for Coventry on Tuesday evening = Light golden showers yes

I saw them at Cardiff about 3 weeks ago. I don't like The Enemy, Kasabian rocked it, Oasis were Oasis really.

I thought the crowd was tame, even in 'the front pit' and I felt like a few times I was getting funny looks for enjoying myself. Thought it would be the exact opposite to be honest.

I didn't get soaked, but I was wet. Hopefully beer but hey ho, that's life. My mate took a pint of pizz point blank in the face before the first band had come on. Bit of a downer for him but it certainly got a laugh!

All in all, a good day / night!

saw the chili peppers in cov a few years back, good venue for gigs. saw oasis at cardiff last month, htey came on about 9 and played for 90 minutes. kasabian are utter ste, the most overrated band on the planet, missed the enemy! (but saw them in swindon early this year where they were fantastic!)

Kasabian are better than Oasis (in my opinion).

Something different.

Went to Reading festival in 2000 and Oasis were on the bill. As the day went on more chav morons pi$$ing in pint glasses seemed to appear, which I've never seen before at a gig, so didn't bother stay to find out how it all turned out...

I'd was pretty intense. I'd say Cardiff was fairly calm but still a pint a minute.

You can obviously tell what it is when the pint goes up by the colour.

Last thing you want though really. To be honest, once you have had a drink and are enjoying yourself it kind of goes to the back of your mind as oppose to bracing yourself every time you look forwards.

The Joker.

To answer my own question.... Timings are as follows:

Free Peace will launch the support sets at 5pm after the gates have opened at 3.30pm.

Twisted Wheel, who played at Glastonbury at the weekend, will take over at 5.45pm before The Enemy play in the stadium bowl at the Ricoh for the first time from 6.45pm. Oasis will play their set from 8.15pm.

Looks like they know what they are expecting:

ADVICE: Umbrellas at Oasis concert

The Ricoh Arena would like to request fans visiting the stadium for the Oasis concert on Tuesday, July 7 do not bring along umbrellas for use in the stadium bowl.

For reasons of health and safety, and to ensure the best viewing experience possible for all visitors, those carrying umbrellas will not be permitted access to the stadium bowl.
