Anyone else see Oasis on Saturday night? Excellent!

It was the 5th time that I have seen them, going back to '98-ish.
By far the best time to date, they were well on form.
Kasabaian were excellent too.
We were in the lucky 3 thousand to get in the "gold circle", so were right at the front of the stage.
I had heard the rumours about p1ss throwing but had never encountered it before.
This time though, the p1ss was flying everyehere. I even chucked my Gin & tonic through the air, just to get involved! (it wa sin a plastic cup, btw).

As for the 'antics'... I've been to a lot of gigs, and that was by far the worst I've ever seen for piss-throwing. Just no need. I was stood fairly near the back and people were still feeling the need to do it. Poor form IMO.
I had to have words with the chaps that decided they would try and piss right next to me, against a rail. I was not happy.
We never got hit directly but due to the rain and the proximity of some piss-flingers it was hard to tell what was what. We both felt the need to put everything we had on in the wash as soon as we got back to mine, which is never a good sign!
Overall a good night, slightly let down by a large majority of fans.

i saw them Sunday, the sound quality was appalling, especially for the early bands until the stadium filled up, the food and beer were crap and grossly overpriced, the beer throwing was ridiculous .
I'm used to festivals where food/beer/facilities are excellent, well maybe not the toilets.
I thought Oasis were excellent but the venue was crap and i won't be setting foot in that stadium again!!
