Some good stuff listed her.
I Rate
Marvin Gayes--"Got To Give It Up".

Need to wind the bass up a bit well worth the effort.

`Up On The Hill` is a corker by them and has a much nicer bass line. Thanks for reminding me ! thumbup

"Dragon Attack" by Queen. Similar to "Another one bites the dust" but funkier!

Best song from 'The Game'

Saw it played live by Queen at the MK Bowl '82, and it was awesome.

I was just going to mention the last one, I'm not a massive hip hop fan but that is very good!

Tiesto- Obsession. My favorite track by him ever! Its just builds and builds and then boom!

Thing is, I used to be able to play anything he ever played (couple of months slap & tickle, many could - it really isn't that difficult), but I tell you what is so impressive... he sang at the same time - live. Now THAT is seriously impressive.

Here's a few that spring to my mind:

Pretty much most stuff by Tony Kanal of No Doubt fame; this is probably my favourite of his.

Cass Lewis of Skunk Anansie is awesome.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but for some 80's poodle-perm pomp-rock with melodic bass you don't have to look much further than Mr Alec John Such

Oh, and, erm, Cher anybody?
