Anyone else heard The United States of Eurasia yet? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKxN4JyGtoE&fea...

More than a hint of Queen in places!

I quite like it. Not sure it's as good as their previous stuff, but I don't think there's such a thing as a bad Muse track. Plus they are the best live band on the planet. I can say that with confidence having seen every single one. Maybe.

definately influenced by queen, but for me black holes is still my favourite album, however i will give them a chance to prove me wrong with this one!

Thanks for the link. Not really a fan of Queen. My favourite Muse album has to be Absolution - such a powerful album... full of emotion.

I'm a big fan from Absolution but not too impressed with this. Don't think I'll buy. Maybe it's my perceived anti-european slant - and then maybe it's because it's rather dull. I don't have a problem with the Queen influence if it's open & acknowledged in the way The Scissor Sisters do with Elton John and Pink Floyd.

Really not feeling this one, hope the rest of the album doesn't go down the same line.

I like everything back to the first album, but I agree the peak so far was somewhere between Absolution and Black Holes. One of my favourite tracks is actually Map of The Problematique, as I think it's the studio track that's closest to their live sound.

Muse headlining Glasto a few years back still remains the best gig I've ever been to. How the hell can three people produce that much sound? One of my favourite bands of all time and definitely my favourite actively gigging at the moment. bow

Definitely one of my favourite bands ever, live and on record. But that is just really, really disappointing. Hoping the rest of the album is better, though the tour will still kick ass I imagine!

It's one of those performances that even looks epic on Youtube isn't it? smile

Best gig I've ever been to. Although a cocktail of sleep deprivation, herbal remmedies and redbull probably hightened the reality at the time!
