Sounds every bit as awful as its cover would lead you to believe!

Hailing from North East England, this was Battleaxe's debut from '83......still going too! Just drink in that class art work! smile

Oh yeah - they're a Metal band, in case you were wondering!

No idea what's going on there, but if they ever make a TV show based on that album cover, I'll definitely watch. Naked chicks and crocodiles with machine guns - what's not to likelaugh

Crocodiles with machine-guns is a much better concept than sharks with lasers.

It's not quite the same, but one of Action Bronson's music videos is a mock cop show. The music probably won't be to everyone's taste, and some of the lyrics are relatively profane (i.e. NSFW), but here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2AHvZWojSc

On a side note I think that Bronson album is a competitor for my favourite ever album cover. It's just so ridiculous that it would be near impossible to top. Have this cracker as well.

John Hall (centre) ended up as the Democratic Congressman for New York's 19th district. I'm guessing that the album cover wasn't used in his campaign. smile

Pretty good songwriter and a decent band, though.

I don't think that counts since it's intentionally bad. Awesome album though.

Striker - Eyes in the night. Pity as it's such a good album.

Their next cover was better but the album wasn't as good,

Cattle Decapitation - some of the music videos are truly horrendous too - i think one involved pulling mini sausages out of a lady's sponge

Haven't time to find out if 'Mulligan and O'hare' have an album cover, but it may fit in this thread nicely.

Shameless rip-off from Pink Floyd's 'Atom Heart Mother' with one or two extras thrown in!laugh
