I have a living will which specifies:-
On entry to Crematorium, Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Freebird'
When I'm being committed to the flames, Crazy World of Arthur Brown's 'Fire'
When people are leaving, Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven' (Corny, but I live in hope!)

I'll probably be cremated, so I want the Thunderbirds theme tune to play while the furnace doors open and the coffin trundles into it.
I laughed at that more than I probably should have.

Think I've recounted this story before on a similar thread. But it's worth a repost.

Heard a story on the radio of a guy who's Father had passed away. In reading his will his father had given instructions to have this played as the coffin was sent into the furnace...

Joy Division, Atmosphere. A very moving and poignant piece of music.

What came from the Crematoriums sound system as his father departed on his final journey was this...

He said he found the funny side after a month or two.

In an uplifting way this. I doubt Mike Peters sentiments will have resulted in a New South Wales by the time I pop my clogs, but I've lived through the past few decades of decline in the area, and this is a prayer for the area I love. Shame that some of the scrotes living here don't appreciate the sentiments of this song.
