Have we talked about Alae Noctis yet?

I'm really enjoying their "Cyborgs" album. Fits in nicely with my current cyber-metal obsession.
I'm a bit of a massive kid at times.

I have no idea why, but the first thing that came to mind listening to that was This.

I shall leave the thread immediately!

Cool, Omen appear to have passed me by. I'll have tyo investigate them further.

In the meantime, have some Mutant

That's the song that got me into Arch Enemy, but Wages of Sin is their best album by far imo.

Just about caught my breath after watching that. Great stuff. The singer scares me.

That's ok, there's always one who's disgracefully lacking in culture... wink

Having said that I'm expecting huge things from the new Gojira album but going on the initial track i was a little but meh tbh.....

Yikes, it's as if Frasier Crane was channeling Riff Raff from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Never heard of them, but that's pretty decent. Touch of the old Paradise Lost about it perhaps?

Definitely a bit of influence IMO. They've obviously listened to a fair bit of British "Doom," I reckon - My Dying Bride, early Anathema and all that stuff as well... But there's a slightly Progressive edge too, sort of in an Opeth'y sort of way. Until I discovered Daylight Dies, Opeth and MDB were my two favourite bands, and I guess these guys sit quite nicely in the middle somewhere.

The last two Paradise Lost albums have been BELTERS too, though.

Bit of Nasum and Agathocles to speed things up.

Pity the Agathocles completist, that's all I can say smile
